Who I Am:: The Sapphire Phoenix, one of five Gemstone Phoenixes. Controls water and ice. NOT ARTICUNO. OR: Sapphire Lazuli. Fun-lovin', pierced, tattood girl with the ability to shape-shift.

Who I Really Am:: Zara Gillespie, 21 y/o art student from central Scotland. Alternative style. Into piercings, of which I have 21, and tattoos, which I have three of. Also work part time as a shop assisstant in a piercing/tattoo studio selling clothes, jewellry and weapons, such as katanas, broadswords, axes, maces, daggers and more..... I'm also able to give a bit of advice on piercing, thanks to my boss Mary Glen... :) I'm also about to start an apprenticeship in piercing.. I now also work part-time as a barmaid, and I'm an art student! Whew..

Music:: I love most music, but I prefer punk/rock/metal. Bad Religion, New Found Glory, Trivium, Millencolin, Slayer, The Dwarves, AC-DC, Shadows Fall, Papa Roach etc..

About Drawing and My Art:: I've been drawing since I could hold a pencil, thanks to an enthusiastic artist mother who encouraged me and supported me fully. Was introduced to anime early in high school but only started drawing it seriously 5 years ago. Have always loved fantasy artwork, dragons and phoenixes especially.

About Commenting:: Chances are if you comment on my work, I will reply. I like to let people know their comments are appreciated.

About Favouriting:: I will things that stand out to me, whether it be a sketch or a fully finished piece.

Other Loves:: Apart from piercings and tattoos, I LOVE PVC, especially Phaze dresses... I love New Rocks boots, and other fetish shoes... I have a somewhat unhealthy obssession for Lip Service clothing... For ornaments, I love anything by Nemisis Now... For weapons, I love katanas, of which I have one of, with a dragon for the hilt. I also have a Baelin's Fang, and another short sword... I love Aliens and Predators... I love playing Game Consoles and own a Playstation 2, a Gamecube, a GameboyAdvance, a Dreamcast, a Sega Megadrive, a Sega MasterSystem and an Atari... I love birds, especially the mythical Phoenix, and I have a cockatiel called Zephyr.

These profiles always make me sound weedy and giggly and "wai wai kawaii desu weeeee!" and stuff.. I'm not really like that. I'm down-to-earth, easily amused (but not to the point of effing annoying), enjoy having fun, and very opiniated. I'm very into being myself, and don't like to shut my mouth to keep folk happy. If I don't like you, I won't be long in telling you so. You may think my attitude stinks, but I'm a nice enough person, I just don't take any crap from anyone.

Except for my mum, she scares the s**t outta me.

My Artist of the Moment!:: I've decided to add a little bit on my favourite artist of the moment. :) And at the moment, it's.......

! I would consider Jaxx a friend, and I have loved her art for many years... The dragons she draws are gorgeous, as are her dolphins and whales. She draws Halo fanart like no other, and her Xenomorphs and Yaytja arts are worth viewing too! This girl's incredible at everything, if you haven't seen her stuff, I suggest you mosey on over there quick-style!
